The bleaching agent is typically a hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide gel, which is applied to the teeth and may be activated with a special light or laser. How take-home whitening treatment works

  • Initial Consultation

    We will discuss what your goals are for whitening your smile, and explain the benefits of the different whitening options that we provide.

  • Take-Home Options Are provided

    The two different take-home whitening treatment options are pre-filled and custom trays. The pre-filled trays are disposable, and you will typically leave your appointment with 10 trays to take home. If we opt for custom trays, we will scan your teeth and send the impression to our lab to have custom trays fabricated. At your following appointment, you will receive your custom trays and whitening gel to place into them at your convenience at home.

  • Follow Up Appointment

    Following your whitening treatment, we will decide with you on if you would like to continue on a maintenance program with your current type of whitening therapy, or switch it up to another type if you would like to try that. Whichever route you decide to go, we are confident you will get the results you’re looking for!

TREATMENT OPTIONS

TEETH WHITENING

  • These trays are prefilled with a whitening agent, usually hydrogen or carbamide peroxide, in a disposable tray that you use from the comfort of your own home. Simply wear them as instructed, then throw them away. Their application is simple and easy to use, and can provide great results!

  • These trays are custom fit to your teeth. We take an impression in the office, send this impression to the lab, and they send back your custom trays. At your following appointment, the trays are tried in and made sure to fit you comfortably. Whitening gel in a tube is then provided to you, and we go through the instructions together to ensure you are ready to brighten up that smile from the comfort of your home. These trays are reusable, and can last many years and rounds of whitening!

  • Our in-office whitening is done in our Whitening Suite, where you will have your teeth brightened in one appointment. We will clean your teeth and apply a whitening agent to them, and all that is left for you to do is sit-back and relax!
